About Us

Under Cover was established by John Hines in January 1990 to supply a bespoke service designing and manufacturing tailor-made protective covers from canvas and pvc as well as other types of more specialised technical fabrics.

Drawing from within the sailmaking, upholstery and cover making sectors, a small team of craftsmen were soon employed to deal efficiently with the growing trend of interesting client requests for one-off's, prototypes, alterations, template production work and marine re-upholstery work etc.

Commercial and private sectors have been instrumental in helping us build a very broad customer base which is now firmly established. Under Cover continues to pride itself as a helpful, friendly and reliable company with an unparalleled customer focus and attention to detail.
